And if it's raining, you don't want any of that rain getting inside your vehicle, this is gonna be a great way to prevent that. Putco Element In-Channel Window Rain Guards Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and we're gonna be installing the Putco Window Air Deflectors on the front and rears. And compared to a lot of other styles, the Putcos are gonna have a little bit more contours to 'em compared to just the more bubbly style. I think they're gonna look really good on this truck. These wind guards are gonna allow you to roll down your window about an inch and a half to two inches when it's raining and still get some fresh air. They're gonna be made out of a polycarbonate material that is claimed to be virtually unbreakable so when you're driving down the road, any rocks or anything like that's coming off the road in colder temperatures, hotter climates, they're going to resist dents, dings, cracks, and definitely resist breaking so you may not have to get a pair for a long time. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at our Flint Hill Goods Rain Deflectors or Wind Deflectors right here on our 2011 Ford F-150. So these are gonna be custom fit wind deflectors or rain guards, so whether it's raining and you wanna make sure that no water goes onto your windows or it just deflects out away from your truck, or let's say it's windy and you wanna leave your window down, we don't want all of the wind blowing into your face, that's where these wind deflectors come in handy. They're also helpful for, let's say, you just camped out, you're just hanging out, and you wanna keep your windows just slightly up where you still get a good amount of air, this will help keep that privacy in place. So this is gonna come in a set of four, so you have two for the front and two for the rear, and as you can see, with this being custom fit, that's very important, you want to have them fit around the grooves of your windows, they're basically like your current windows, just a little bit extra. So these are going to be dark tinted deflectors, so you can see here how it kinda matches the tint of our current window. If I put my hand underneath the deflectors, you can't really see my hand behind it. more

Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Flint Hill Goods In-Channel Rain Guards on a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Now this kit is gonna come with the front and rear rain guards, and you're gonna have those for both sides. Installation is relatively simple, and you're gonna gain a lot of use out of this, especially when it's raining but also it has a nice shaded color here which is gonna help block out sun. It's kind of in that area where your actual sun guard doesn't block, so those ones that are kind of hitting you up the side, this is gonna help block some of that out. I actually took off my OEM ones, which as you can see, very, very thin, very flimsy, and they started to crack over time. So, these aren't going to crack near as quickly as these did. So if you guys are looking for a way of giving yourself a decent little rain guard to go ahead and allow yourself to crack that window for whatever reason, maybe we just, you know, I don't know if you guys have ever experienced that, but you're driving along, got no AC on, no heater. All of a sudden your windows start fogging up, becomes a pain to go ahead and turn on that defroster, way nicer to go ahead and roll the roll those windows down a little bit in the rain. However, then you're getting rained on, right Well, now with these guys you can go ahead and crack it, that way, no rain can get in and we're still getting good air flow with it, which is great. Hey today guys today we have the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan, and we're going to take a look at and show you how to install these Weathertech side window air deflectors for the front and rear.Now this is going to be a great product to add to your Caravan. It's going to help deflect wind over your windows if you want to have them slightly cracked, even when you're traveling at high speeds. Now in some cases where you may have purchased a set of deflectors for the front and none for the back, or if you just need a replacement, you can purchase these deflectors separately just for the rear instead of having to purchase the kit all over again.They have a nice low-profile design, which is going to help cut down on wind noise, and that's useful for those days where you might want to roll down your window a bit and let some fresh air in the vehicle, and also keep the elements outside. The dark tinting is going to provide extra shade from the sun for if it's at a certain angle, it could help keep the sun out of your eyes. It has a three millimeter thick acrylic construction, which can be very durable and hold up well to all of the elements.They're very easy to get installed. Today we've got a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, these WeatherTech side window air deflectors for the rear which is part number WT81840.These side window air deflectors do a great job of allowing interior heat to escape while cutting down on the wind noise that could be entering your car as you're driving at high speeds. If you lower the window just about two to two-and-a-half inches you can allow the interior heat to come out and let some fresh air get in the car, and the wind is going to be kind of ramping over that deflector making sure it doesn't make too much noise inside your vehicle. Also, if it's raining out it's also going to do a great job of not allowing water to get inside as long as you have it rolled up to at least the bottom part of the air deflector.It's got a dark tinted acrylic construction so it's going to be durable and hold up well in extreme conditions. The dark tint is also going to resist UV rays. So if you've got your kids sitting in the backseat, or whoever might be back there, if the sun's at a certain angle it's going to do a great job of giving you more protection from the sun so it doesn't get in your eyes.Now, you're going to get both a driver's side and a passenger's side deflector for the rear windows. Part number WT87184.Here's what our window deflectors look like, once we have them installed. They're gonna be a nice low profile design, and they're not gonna be sticking out real far, and they're just gonna give us that nice OEM style look. The deflectors themselves are going to be made out of a three millimeter acrylic construction, so we know that they're going to hold up for a long time. On the rear deflector, since our window doesn't roll up and down, it's not going to allow the fresh air in, but it is going to be a nice added feature and a nice look to go if you have some front ones. That's gonna be part number WT88184.Here's what our WeatherTech window deflectors are gonna look like once we have them installed on our truck. They are gonna give us the front, as well as the rear, and they're both gonna feature a nice, low profile design, kind of giving you that OEM look.These are gonna allow us to roll down the window, and if it starts to rain, we can roll them up just a bit, keeping the weather out, but still allowing us to have some fresh air. These are gonna be perfect for those rainy summer days where we want to let some of the heat out of our truck but not get wet from the rain.Both the front as well as the rear are gonna feature a three millimeter construction, so they're gonna stand up to the elements. Now, this is custom engineered for our truck, so it's gonna give us that really nice, finished look, as well as an easy installation. Now, you can also pick up the front only in both light and dark tinting as well as the back only in light and dark tinting.So here's what our window deflectors are going to look like once we have them installed on our Subaru. WeatherTech Front Side Window Air Deflectors Installation - 2013 Ford Edge- Video

Today on our 2013 Ford Edge, we'll be installing the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors for the front, available in dark tinting as part number WT80430 and light tinting as part number WT70430. All right, as you can see we already have our driver's side window air deflector installed. What I like about this is this is a nice, slim line design that follows the contour of our door nicely. This will allow us to have our window cracked in inclement weather conditions to let fresh air inside of our vehicle but keeping the elements out. This is great for when we're parking our car when we go into work and it's a hot, sunny day outside. This will let some of the hot air escape, keeping our car cooler for when we get back when we get off work, and if we have one of those sporadic summer rain storms we don't have to worry about the interior of our car getting wet while we leave it unattended. One nice feature about our front visors here is that there's no tape involved. These don't stick to the outside of your door panel at all. more

All right, here's what our window visor looks like installed. As you can see it's a nice slim line design that follows the contour of our vehicle nicely. Because the slim line design and giving us a clean look it looks like it's there from the factory. So if it's a hot humid day and it's raining you'll be able to crack your windows to get some fresh air in your vehicle, and you don't have to worry about getting any of the rain inside. Another thing I like about these, this does cut down on the wind noise. more

WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors Installation - 2013 Toyota Highlander- Video

Today on our 2013 Toyota Highlander, we'll be installing the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors with dark tinting for the front. It's a two piece kit, part number WT80464. The reason you want one of these is so when it's raining outside and you still want to get some fresh air in your vehicle, you can have the window partially rolled down and you can still get all your fresh air in, while keeping all the bad weather out. It's a very sleek, OEM look, help reduce wind noise, and keep the bad weather such as rain and snow out of your vehicle. We'll begin our installation by taking some soap and water, and a shop towel here, get a little damp, and we'll clean the top edge of our window, just like so. Now that we have our windows clean, we can install our side window deflector. We'll start with the front end here making sure this bottom edge here rests on top of the window sill right there, so we insert it into the window channel like so, work it up. more
